GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide instruction to licensed operators and licensed operator candidates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• In depth knowledge of the SAT process per ACAD 02-001 and industry standard governance
• Analyze, Design, Develop operations training lesson materials
• Implement operations training curriculum in the classroom and simulator
• Integrate program curriculum into a predictable training schedule.
• Analyze student performance gaps and apply appropriate remediation.
• Analyze exam results for understanding of student and/or program shortfalls.
• Provide oversight of student behaviors and demonstration of knowledge comprehension
• Resolve programmatic gaps from student feedback and management observations.
• Timely communication of program challenges and student academic performance gaps
• Maintain program configuration control through the Vision™ software database.
• Participate in Academic Review Boards
• Maintain relationship with client sites by participating, as needed, in hiring/selection process, training committees, and peer group calls.
Operations Training Instructor Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
• BS degree preferred in engineering or physical science.
• Preferred - Previous INPO ICP or site certified instructor.
Experience
• Minimum experience level
o 5+ years certified as Senior Reactor Operator Certified instructor (or licensed SRO) on PWR design. Combustion Engineering preferred but not required, or
o 5+ years licensed SRO on PWR designed unit. Combustion Engineering preferred but not required.
• Preferred experience
o 5+ years of providing knowledge and skills-based training to students in an accredited program.
o 5+ years of executing all phases of the SAT process (ADDIE)
o 5+ years providing instruction to Licensed operators.
o 5+ years in designing accredited programs; Schedule/Curriculum/Governance
o 5+ years managing Vision software database.
