Position Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor
Hours: 3:30pm-2:00am

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our maintenance team within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is installed, repaired, and maintained efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
- Oversee installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including 3-phase electrical systems (120-220-480V).
- Provide technical expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics, with welding experience being a plus.
- Ensure that machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operate safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Understand and troubleshoot PLC systems – no programming required, but must be familiar with functionality.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Handle scheduling, shift assignments, and weekend work during peak seasons.
- Develop and implement training programs for both junior and senior-level maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budget, inventory, and spare parts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment (Food, Packaging, or Medical Device industry preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role, managing and mentoring maintenance teams.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in 3-phase electrical systems (120-220-480V), including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics; welding experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley, with the ability to troubleshoot and understand system functions.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of technicians, from entry-level to seasoned professionals.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
