The Equipment Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient coordination and delivery of replacement equipment to assist in the reduction of mean time to repair (MTR), to include aspects of order management, spares inventory management, repair and replenishment of spares inventory.
Essential Duties
- Initiates return material authorization (RMA) with vendors per requirements of vendor maintenance agreements and spares analysis requirements.
- Ensures timely vendor repair/replenishment of spares equipment. Tracks, reports and escalates as required.
- Responsible for ensuring the failed equipment is returned to the vendor for credit or repair and received from vendor to replenish critical spares (C-Spares) stock. Responsible for spares inventory management, ensuring physical/logical inventory reconciliation.
- Assists in all aspects of order management to include order processing, procurement, logistics coordination/tracking and validation of proof of delivery of replacement equipment in the field.
- Responsible for activities including identifying, researching and assisting internal/external customers by providing status of critical equipment.
- Responsible for status tracking, updating and reporting to management and peers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years warehouse experience is required, including operating directly in warehouse management system
- Proficient in computer systems knowledge and skills, as well as experience with Outlook, Excel and Word applications
- Logistics experience utilizing MRP (Material, Resources and Planning) WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Applications is preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, customer service, oral and written communication and teamwork skills are required
- Must be detail oriented with an analytical attitude
- Must be able to maintain a sense of urgency and priority setting, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where priorities are of critical nature
- Familiarity and experience in warehouse fundamentals including knowledge of basic practices, and procedures of material receipt, order fulfillment, RMA returns and inventory management
- Motivated self-starter able to work individually or within a team, and have the ability to monitor and work from logical inventory work queues
- Capable of identifying items by mfg. part number and serial number when applicable
- Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and good oral and written communication skills
- Flexible in job tasks and have the ability to perform on call and call out duties 24 X 7 on rotational basis
- Ability to learn systems and processes quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced working in large volume distribution centers
- Experienced with SAP and SAP WM systems
- Experienced and knowledgeable handling telecommunications materials and equipment
