Description
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial individual looking to join a fast-growing investment banking firm, with ample responsibility. This role offers significant responsibility and opportunity to grow with our company, but it also requires an individual who possesses organizational and project management skills.
The Analyst will work directly with our entire team on all types of corporate finance assignments: M&A, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, valuations, benchmarking, internal ownership transitions, and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include analyzing financial information, building M&A marketing materials, analyzing and drawing conclusions from large amounts of financial and other survey data, preparing pitch books and conference presentations, maintaining and updating our database, and collaborating with our team members with all types of corporate finance and M&A assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Coursework in accounting and/or finance
- 0-2 years of investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, and/or private equity experience, including internships
- Financial modeling experience and proficiency in Excel
- A fundamental understanding of valuation, M&A, and private equity transactions
- Strong analytical abilities and financial and computer skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
