UACL Logistics, LLC a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings Inc. is in search of candidates to fill an Customer Onboarding Coordinator opening within their corporate office located in Warren, MI.
This coordinator is responsible for reviewing all customer, broker, and trailer interchange contracts. This also includes preparing summaries for the president and vice president of UACL and assisting with negotiations with the customer. The coordinator will process customer insurance certificates and assist with excess insurance requests, complete onboarding call checklists for all new customers, and work with other internal departments to ensure all customer requirements are met. The coordinator will also assist with credit requests and completing the set up of new customers.
In addition to these responsibilities, the coordinator will assist the invoicing department by reviewing and uploading customer and complete summary invoices per customer requirements (weekly or monthly).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Customer invoicing
- Calling agents, directors of business development, customers, and other company personnel to resolve billing issues
- Reviewing contracts
- Setting up new customers
- Summarizing contracts for executives and assisting with customer negotiations
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- One year experience in a related office setting
- Knowledge of data processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to independently solve problems and see them through to resolution
- Ability to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
- Knowledge of TL2000 AS400 is a plus but not required
- High School diploma required, secondary education preferred
