Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee multifamily ground-up projects from groundbreaking to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multifamily construction, managing site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site construction activities for multifamily ground-up projects.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the project team, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
- Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project updates and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee quality control procedures and conduct site inspections to maintain project integrity.
- Resolve any issues that arise during construction efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily reports and site logs.
- Foster a positive work environment and uphold a culture of safety on the job site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily ground-up construction.
- Strong understanding of multifamily building systems, construction techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- OSHA certification (preferred).
