Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented law clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in veteran disability law and a passion for helping veterans. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fulfilling legal environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on veteran disability law
Assist attorney in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and appeals
Organize and maintain case files
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Communicate with clients and government agencies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Pursuing a law degree or recent law school graduate
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for helping veterans and a strong understanding of veteran disability law is preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who are veterans.
