We have been engaged by a leading AEC to help they grow their already industry recognized environmental team in New Jersey. The organization in question boasts 42 offices across 18 states, with operations and projects in the UK, Middle East, Central America, Canada and across the USA!
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- Previous experience working with and engineering consultancy, managing multiple projects and clients
- In depth knowledge of permitting and compliance regulations in the state of New York
- Understanding of Title V assessments and how to conduct them
- Previous experience preparing permit applications for vaurious environmental media - air, wastewater, storm water, waste and storage tanks
- The ability to train and mentor more junior staff
- Willingness and ability to go on to site and complete assessments and sampling
Responsibilities:
- Prepare permit applications and compliance programs for various environmental media, including air, wastewater, storm water, waste, and storage tanks.
- Perform environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, and inspections.
- Develop and support the implementation of spill prevention and contingency plans (SPCC, SWPPP, FRP, etc.).
- Manage project budgets, invoicing, and lead project teams with junior staff.
- Build strong client relationships while delivering on multiple tasks within budgets and deadlines.
- Provide field support, including site inspections and sampling.
- Train and mentor junior staff members.
