They are seeking an Aviation Scheduler in Andover, MA, to join their team and help streamline their operations.
About the Role:
As an Aviation Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating flight schedules for aircraft and crew. You will manage all mission logistics from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations while anticipating the needs of the team, aircraft, and crew members.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming flight requests and schedule crews, including adjustments for training, PTO, or illness.
- Support dispatch with rerouting or cancellations.
- Optimize scheduling for missions using available aircraft and crew.
- Manage logistics, including hangar availability and coordinating with FBOs for early/late arrivals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with FAA regulations, crew duty times, and Part 135 rules.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for aircraft upkeep and cleaning.
- Handle post-flight expense reports and assist with special projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aviation, crew management, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of FARs related to Part 91/135 operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with flexibility.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.
Pay range and compensation package:
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/year. Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time. Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k, Disability, Life insurance, FSA, HSA.
