UFUND Investment LLC is a private real estate firm based in Austin, Texas. We acquire income producing real estate throughout the United States. We specialize in sourcing and managing real estate and related equity, debt, and hybrid investments. Our value-oriented approach focuses on acquiring or capitalizing assets or enterprises that are undervalued, overlooked, complex, or mispriced.
We are seeking a Director of Investor Relations for a remote, independent contractor role. This position will play a pivotal role in analyzing investments, fostering strong relationships with our existing investors, and expanding our investor base.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the entire lifecycle of tracking and managing investment opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, updates, and reporting.
- Lead planning for fundraises and due diligence, provide financial analysis, and assist in all fundraising activities.
- Organize and lead investor meetings, events, and conduct investor presentations, including annual general meetings, online offline investor meetings, and roadshows.
- Prepare and distribute detailed investment information, performance reports, and other investor communications on a regular basis.
- Build/maintain strong client relationships, presenting investment opportunities and effectively communicating the firm’s value proposition.
- Manage and train junior team members, and support staff.
- Create and enhance marketing materials, emphasizing the unique selling points of the company’s products and projects, and effectively communicate these to prospective investors.
- Monitor project status, collaborating with different project/sponsor teams to ensure performance meets investment expectations.
- Collaborate with all levels of team members across the organization, to gather and analyze data for investor reporting, and to help ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across all marketing channels.
- Maintain and update the investor relations database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of investor interactions.
- Ensure all investor relations activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Proactively search for and implement new methods to enhance fundraising efforts, improve team performance, and drive results.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts, and adjust strategies as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in capital markets (investment or equity research analyst), preferably within the real estate or equity sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in equity research, capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, or related roles within the venture capital or private equity industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience underwriting equity/debt investments and/or executing investors funds
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and private equity fund structures.
- Must be highly service oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently as well as within a team, solve problems and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for conferences and relationship meetings.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling are preferred.
- Experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, Private Wealth Advisor, or Portfolio Manager is preferred.
