Documents Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute subcontract and purchase order documents.
- Process, track, and log Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, and closeout documents.
- Maintain and organize project-related documents in our project management system.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of AIA documents and owner billing.
- Manage correspondence between owners and subcontractors to ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Support the maintenance of company job files, including original signed contracts.
- Perform additional tasks to support our project management team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably in construction or project coordination.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, and experience with Adobe PDF or Bluebeam is preferred, but not required. We also welcome candidates eager to learn new software tools.
- Detail-Oriented: You’re meticulous and have a knack for catching discrepancies in documentation.
- Team Player: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Positive Attitude: A proactive and adaptable mindset will set you apart.
Work Schedule:
- Standard hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, with flexibility for additional hours to meet project deadlines.
