About the Role
Job Title: Performance Test Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective Performance Test Strategies for applications in a consumer tech ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Development, Project Managers, and Architects to identify issues early and ensure application resilience.
- Coordinate load testing with delivery schedules and analyze test results for infrastructure and application responsiveness.
- Drive Performance Testing automation in the CI/CD pipeline and ensure industry best practices.
- Lead post-mortem and root-cause analyses to support Agile software delivery.
- Create and visualize performance metrics, applying strong project management skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or similar fields.
- Expertise in Performance Testing, automation, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and Agile.
- Programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or SQL (preferred).
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and leadership in technology transformation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced monitoring and performance profiling tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace).
- Familiarity with database performance optimization and query tuning.
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or in Performance Testing methodologies (e.g., CPTE, CPoF).
Location: Dallas, TX
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
