Mitigation Manager, you will also be responsible for managing and developing the
mitigation team, ensuring project success through effective leadership, coordination, and communication.

Job Responsibilities: - Lead mitigation efforts for disasters including water extraction, structural drying, mold removal, and fire damage restoration, following IICRC standards.
- Manage and develop the mitigation team, ensuring that all team members are trained, supported, and meeting performance expectations.
- Oversee setup and maintenance of restoration equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, purifiers, etc.).
- Perform moisture mapping and document losses using MICA and other software.
- Manage the demolition of damaged structures (drywall, carpets, insulation) after a disaster.
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters and industry professionals on project scope and costs.
- Ensure excellent customer service, acting as the on-site point of contact.
- Create and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely project completion.
- Lead and train the mitigation team, handling hiring, performance evaluations, and department growth.
- Use Xactimate or Symbility for project estimation and documentation.
- Maintain clean and organized equipment, vehicles, and warehouse space.
Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of mitigation or restoration experience.
- Experience in residential and commercial mitigation.
- Strong knowledge of water, fire, and mold remediation.
- Experience using Xactimate or Symbility for project estimation.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and coordinating subcontractors.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Required Certifications: - IICRC ASD, WRT, FSRT
- IICRC AMRT (or higher)
Physical Demands: - Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform demolition work, and operate in extreme environments.
- Occasional travel may be required.
