The Graphic Designer and Retoucher will play a key role in elevating our brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms. As part of our Marketing / Ecommerce department, you will collaborate with the rest of the team as well as the Design, Sales and Product Development teams to create visually compelling content that aligns with our brand's aesthetics and strategic goals. The ideal candidate is highly creative, has a strong eye for detail, and excels in both graphic design and high-end retouching. You will be responsible for everything from Ecommerce photo retouching to campaign visuals, ensuring all deliverables meet our high-quality standards.
This position will report to the Ecommerce and Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design
- Design and produce a wide range of assets for the website, social media, email campaigns and newsletters, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Create original graphics, including illustrations, typography, and layouts for marketing content, lookbooks, linesheets, ads, event materials or other related projects.
Fabric Print Design
- Collaborate closely with the Design and Product Development teams to create unique and trend-driven fabric prints that align with the brand’s aesthetic for each season.
- Design original patterns and prints for fabrics used in our collections, ensuring creativity while maintaining commercial appeal.
Photo Retouching
- Retouch and enhance high-resolution images for Ecommerce, product campaigns, editorial, and social media, ensuring all images meet the brand’s aesthetic standards.
- Edit and color-correct images to create flawless skin tones, adjust lighting and shadows, remove imperfections, and optimize for website or social media use.
- Organize and maintain a library of edited images and files for easy retrieval and reference.
E-Commerce and Social Media Assets
- Design and prepare digital assets for the e-commerce platform, including product pages, banners, and product imagery.
- Work closely with the rest of the Ecommerce and Social Media team to create on-brand, engaging visuals for product launches, promotional content, and campaigns.
- Design layouts for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels, ensuring alignment with current trends while maintaining the brand's unique identity.
Participation in Photoshoots
- Assist in planning and executing e-commerce and campaign photoshoots, ensuring visual consistency with the brand's creative direction.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment rentals, including cameras, lighting, and other necessary gear, ensuring everything is charged and in working order before and during photoshoots.
- Provide hands-on support during photoshoots, helping to adjust lighting, set up props, and monitor image quality in real-time.
Video Editing and Motion Graphics
- Edit and create short-form video content for social media, campaigns, and behind-the-scenes footage, adding motion graphics and animation when needed.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to brainstorm and execute video concepts that resonate with our target audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design and photo retouching, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong retouching skills with attention to detail in color correction, lighting, and skin retouching.
- Experience in designing fabric prints and patterns, with knowledge of production processes preferred.
- Experience in designing for digital and print formats.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
- Understanding of Ecommerce platforms, social media trends, and digital marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with photography equipment and experience assisting on photoshoots, including camera and lighting setup.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A creative thinker with a keen sense of fashion, style, and design aesthetics.
