In this role you will partner with the business and lead and coach staff to put our data to work by understanding business processes and reporting requirements to deliver high quality, repeatable data driven solutions. Your role is to ensure we have the right databases, reporting tools and data that the company needs to make decisions. You will be responsible for leading the design and development of proper database structures and BI solutions, primarily in the Microsoft Stack.
You will partner with business teams to develop and document requirements and deliver applications, reports, and dashboards that will meet the needs of our business users and help build our data strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong Oracle and SQL background, excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce high-quality end-to-end solutions for complex data problems. Engages in data modeling, database architecture, data migration, metadata and repository creation, and enablement of reporting and analytics. Stays up to date with innovative technologies and recommends improvements to services in their department.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise Data Warehouse applications, ensuring adherence to coding and design standards while providing technical leadership for implementations.
- Collaborate with business teams to document requirements and deliver reports, dashboards, and BI solutions using tools such as SSRS and Power BI, focusing on data accuracy and accessibility.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of Data Warehouse projects, including data sourcing, migration, quality, and performance tuning.
- Develop and automate self-service reporting solutions, ensuring consistency in reporting methodologies across business units.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units, assessing data extraction, report generation, and troubleshooting operational issues related to data warehouse systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in BI/DW lifecycle components, including ETL, DataMarts, Reporting, Dashboards, and Analytics.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server (2012/2014), SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI, with hands-on experience in database design, Transact-SQL, and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable designs for development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills, with prior leadership experience preferred.
An individual with strong technical expertise in data warehousing and business intelligence, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills, would excel in this role.
