General contractor with 75+ years of experience looking for a Project Superintendent with 5+ years of experience in commercial construction for multimillion dollar projects.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting site plans, specifications, and construction drawings
- Working with the Project Manager to formulate project schedule
- Understanding subcontractor’s scope of work
- Managing work flow so as to stay on schedule
- Maintaining daily log of all on-site activities and site conditions
- Understanding OSHA requirements and inspections
- Maintaining company safety plan and reporting all (if any) incidents
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with subcontractors
- Attending meetings with owners and sub-contractors
- Punch list and closeout process to allow for on schedule completion
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear concise manner
Experience:
- Computer knowledge of construction programs
- Construction Supervision: 5 years (required)
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10 hour certification
