Are you a brand builder with a passion for outdoor sports and a natural ability to connect with people? As the newest member of our team, you will be developing and executing the Sweet Protection brand strategy in North America – taking charge of a dynamic brand in the ski, snowboard, and bike markets. You’ll drive our brand strategy, creating powerful partnerships with athletes and influencers, building brand awareness, and igniting consumer excitement across every channel. You have a marketing or business degree and 5+ years of experience in brand marketing with an outdoor premium brand and a couple of years of leadership experience. You are an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment collaborating with sales, e-commerce, and global teams to fuel growth and maximize ROI. What you’ll be doing:
- Igniting and driving the Sweet Protection brand strategy in North America - building consumer relationships and fueling brand passion
- Creating and executing localized marketing plans that align with global goals, boosting brand awareness and sales across all channels
- Building strong partnerships with athletes, influencers, and key accounts to amplify campaigns and connect with North American audiences
- Driving PR impact by managing our agency relationships, securing media coverage, and building endorsements that elevate our brand presence
- Collaborating with sales and e-commerce to elevate brand visibility through digital marketing, in-store displays, and impactful campaigns that drive traffic and sales growth
- Managing the North American marketing budget with a focus on maximizing ROI and reporting KPIs to leadership
- Engaging with consumers and industry partners at events – traveling up to 40% as needed
- Communicating consumer insights to shape global and North American strategies
- Championing the Sweet Protection mission as a true brand ambassador, bringing our vibrant and adventurous spirit to life!
What you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing with 5+ years in brand marketing in the outdoor sports industry with at least 2 years in leadership role
- Solid understanding of retail marketing and digital strategies to support brand growth across channels
- Cross-functional collaboration skills - proven success working with sales, events team and e-commerce in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to set strategy, execute tactical activities and build a team as we grow
- Experience managing budgets and driving ROI, using data to track success
- Self-directed, strategic thinker who can juggle competing projects in an evolving work environment
- Clear, confident communicator who can deliver messages effectively to all stakeholders
- Passion for the outdoors and brand-building – a natural ability to connect with people and energize a team
