Drawing on over 40 years of experience dedicated to Manhattan and its boroughs, the CEO and Principal, Darcy Stacom, has sold, financed, and/or recapitalized over $150 billion of commercial real estate. Her resume includes the City’s most iconic and record setting transactions.
Stacom CRE is looking for a Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate to join the team who is eager to learn and gain experience in a very direct basis with opportunity to grow. Position involves day-to-day contact to, and further refinement from, the founder and access to the top decision-makers in the industry.
Past holders of this position have achieved extraordinary success in the industry.
The Role May Include:
- Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis.
- Developing complex financial analyses, including entity and portfolio level valuations, merger, and other relevant financial analyses
- Preparing client materials and internal deliverables
- Performing comprehensive in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
- Managing and quarterbacking deal process from pitch to transaction closing
- Reviewing public company financial statements and preparing company comparable analysis
- Participating in and in some cases leading client meetings, management meetings, due diligence visits, site tours, and other client interactions
Education and Qualifications:
- Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills.
- 2-4 years of commercial real estate, investment banking, or finance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for business, real estate, finance, and accounting concentrations.
Recommended Skill Set:
The individual must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. The individual will be required to manage multiple significant projects simultaneously, working effectively both as an individual unit and as part of a multi-functional team.
- Advanced Excel-based financial modeling skills and strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team setting
- Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance.
- Proficient in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques and a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion within agreed upon deadlines.
- Strong market research experience and interest contributing to strategic planning and idea generation, as well as assisting in the execution of strategic advisory services.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
- Strong ARGUS, financial analysis, and modeling skills preferred.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Stacom CRE requires each non-administrative exempt staff member to be licensed as appropriate in the respective region.
Additional Information:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $120,000.00 to USD $140,000.00. Stacom CRE considers factors such as (but not limited to) relevant skills, experience, education, and where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional items such as incentives, discretionary bonuses, or other items.

· Summer Fridays has WFH flexibility depending on client requirements
