Traveling Superintendent Job Description:
The Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing commercial construction projects valued between $1M-$50M, ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, and field staff throughout the project. Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Manage subcontractor performance relationships
- Be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects
- Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management
- Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance program
- Promote an Injury-free job site through safety initiatives and Company safety program
Superintendent Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the construction
- High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software
