DevNetwork is seeking a contract-based Sales Development Representative / Junior Salesperson who has experience with sponsor / exhibitor sales for conferences and trade shows. Our company runs technology conferences such as DeveloperWeek, API World, CloudX, and AI DevWorld, and we are looking to contract an SDR who is interested in / has experience in the tech sector. The SDR will work with our sales manager on a daily basis to generate new leads and relationships, research new accounts, and build target lists.
Requirements
- Customer Relationship Management software such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- Sales development experience
- Event industry experience (ideally experience in conference / trade show sales)
- Interest in / experience in the technology sector
- Comfort with phone-based, email-based, and face-to-face sales
