Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will provide hands-on design, commissioning leadership and support with liquefaction and other projects currently under development by EPC leadership. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for some of the more complex rotating and packaged equipment such as, not limited to, gas turbines, compressors, N2 packages, expanders, and multiple-LNG-train components with any associated auxiliary equipment. Will also assist with any other Mechanical Package and Export Plant Commissioning technical issues. He will work in close synergy within a Team of multi-cultural Professionals.
The Golden Pass LNG Import/Export Project (ExxonMobil and QatarEnergy, Owners) involves three LNG liquefaction trains with a capacity of eighteen million metric-tons per year prepped for export. There are five existing 155,000 cubic meter full-containment LNG storage tanks. In addition, there are two existing marine berths which can accommodate the largest LNG Carriers at the same time. Upgrades to the existing 69-mile pipeline will up the receipt and redelivery of up to 2.6 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas supply to the export facility. A joint venture of three EPC/Construction Companies are Design/Building the three-train facility next to the existing LNG Import Terminal. The Golden Pass LNG project is an approximately $10 billion investment in infrastructure which will generate billions of dollars of economic growth. It will also generate thousands of jobs during the construction phase and more than two hundred permanent jobs once operational.
