MRC Global is looking for an experienced HSE/DOT Manager to ensure we meet and exceed all regulatory, company, and customer requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to drive our HSE and sustainability initiatives while fostering a culture of safety across our organization.
Travel is Key! This role involves significant travel—averaging 50%—to various MRC Global branches. You'll have the opportunity to engage directly with teams across the country, facilitating the implementation of HSE/DOT and sustainability policies. Your ability to connect with employees and management in different locations will be crucial in driving our initiatives forward.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop and implement HSE and FMCSR-related programs, policies, and procedures.
· Stay up-to-date with all HSE regulations and customer requirements, ensuring compliance across the board.
· Oversee sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and goals.
· Conduct thorough incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
· Manage environmental assessments for company facilities and properties.
· Perform facility inspections to identify potential HSE/DOT risks and recommend solutions.
· Coordinate and deliver training programs on HSE, DOT, and sustainability.
· Collaborate with Regional Distribution Centers and Service Centers to identify improvement opportunities.
· Recognize and celebrate employee participation in HSE/DOT initiatives.
Required Experience
· A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
· At least 5 years of progressive experience in health, safety, and environmental regulations and HSE management practices.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to make decisive and impactful decisions.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
· Proven ability to partner and collaborate with various stakeholders.
· Knowledge of HSE Management Systems and risk assessment techniques.
· A proactive, motivated, and organized approach to multitasking.
· A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet MRC Global’s vehicle policy.

• Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and to respond to inquiries;
