General Summary: This position is primarily responsible for maintaining all the firm’s workstations, providing audio/visual support, and participating in remote trial setups. They will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and networking issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supporting employees with computer issues, troubleshooting PC operating systems and software
· Moving, setting up and shipping computers, peripherals, and printers
· Setup new user network accounts (Active Directory, M365, Zendesk)
· Provide End User Support (Helpdesk) to employees in all offices on software applications used in the firm
· Prepare and support remote trials “Road Show” equipment
· Maintain and track inventory for base office
· Assist with software installations/troubleshooting
· Participate in on-call rotation with other members in IT Department
· Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· College degree or equitant technical training
· Requires one to two years related experience
· Windows 10/11 and Office 365 certifications preferred
· Experience programming in VBA or other programming languages preferred
· A good understanding of Windows Operating system to include:
o Making changes to the Windows registry
o Device drivers
o TCP/IP Networking configuration
o User personalization
o Security
o Networking
· Ability to troubleshoot issues with mobile devices such as iPhones/iPads and Androids
· Experience troubleshooting local and network printing, e-mail, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues
· Ability to log, assign, prioritize, and escalate issues as appropriate
· Experience managing uses in Active Directory preferred
· Strong end user communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to work under strict deadlines
· Able to travel to remote offices as needed
· Able to work overtime when needed
· Must be able to lift/carry 25 lbs.
