We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and inspire our client's customer service team. This role will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to 15 customer service representatives, with a focus on driving results, managing KPIs and ensuring exceptional service levels. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with 5+ years of experience in customer service management, team building and performance optimization.
Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 15 customer service representatives to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Manage, monitor and report on KPIs to drive team performance and meet business objectives
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely and effective resolution
- Implement and optimize customer service policies, procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear expectations and provide feedback to support individual and team development
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on customer service initiatives and processes
Customer Service Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in customer service management, with a strong background in KPI management and results-driven leadership
- Proven track record of building, managing and developing a high-performing customer service team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in customer service software and CRM systems is a plus
