OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a creative and dedicated Print Designer with a focus on packaging and retail design. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, strong technical abilities, and the imagination to push design limits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the design team and cross-functional partners to create innovative packaging and retail designs.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions to generate new design concepts and strategies that comply with brand guidelines.
- Research market trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences to guide design choices and incorporate the latest design techniques and materials.
- Contribute to the development of new products, packaging, and retail solutions.
- Utilize design software efficiently to create concepts and prepare design files for production.
- Assist in creating prototypes and mock-ups for review and testing.
- Support the senior designer with project management tasks, including vendor coordination, progress tracking, and documentation compilation.
- Prepare and manage digital files for production, ensuring color accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
- Review physical samples, proofing, and press checks to guarantee quality.
- Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in design proofs.
- Create renderings to visualize packaging and merchandising concepts for approval.
- Present designs to internal leadership for feedback and approval.
- Communicate with manufacturers and vendors to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining brand aesthetics.
- Revise work based on internal feedback and performance results.
- Effectively communicate design concepts both visually and verbally.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high level of detail and organization throughout the design process.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in art/design preferred.
- 5-7 years of design experience required, specifically in packaging and retail design.
- Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, either in-house or agency-side, preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is essential.
- Familiarity with Figma for presentations is a plus.
