Tatco Construction, a leader in the commercial construction industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Superintendent to join our growing team. As a Travel Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple construction projects across various geographical locations. You will be a key member of our project management team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What you will do:
- Provide direct leadership and supervision to field crews, subcontractors, and vendors on assigned projects.
- Develop and implement detailed construction schedules and ensure adherence to project deadlines.
- Manage project budgets and track costs to identify and address potential deviations.
- Oversee all aspects of quality control and safety compliance on project sites.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify and address any safety hazards or quality issues promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and productivity.
- Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on project progress, safety, and financials.
- Travel extensively to project sites throughout the assigned region.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Travel Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore).
- Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 w/ Bonuses
