Job Title: Director of Enterprise Systems
Overview: The Director of Enterprise Systems will manage technical support for various administrative departments and oversee the development and maintenance of procedural documentation for Banner. This role includes addressing risks and resolving issues across functional areas, developing reports to ensure data accuracy, and implementing new features in Banner to enhance efficiency for students, faculty, and staff. The Director will also be responsible for user training plans, system maintenance, and upgrades, as well as supervising the system and functional analyst teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for administrative functions to ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Manage risk assessments, issue resolution, and maintain procedural documentation for Banner.
- Develop and enforce reports and procedures to ensure data integrity in functional areas.
- Lead ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and implement new features to enhance administrative processes.
- Oversee user training programs and supervise system and functional analysts.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner (ERP) systems.
- Strong background in ERP/CRM systems.
- Expertise in data warehousing, data analytics, and integrations.
- Project management experience on the application side.
- Familiarity with Evisions.
- Industry experience in higher education is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing management information systems.
- At least two years of experience using SQL Plus or PL/SQL and one year working with Pro*C on Oracle or another enterprise-class relational database system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access.
- Proven project management experience, particularly in implementing and upgrading technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Criminal background check required.
