We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our client's esteemed mid-size law firm. As a Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney you will play a vital role in representing clients in complex real estate finance transactions. Key responsibilities include:
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial real estate finance transactions, including loans, inter-creditor agreements, CMBS, mortgages, and other financing arrangements.
- Conducting due diligence reviews and risk assessments for real estate finance transactions.
- Advising clients on legal matters related to real estate financing, including regulatory compliance and financing structures.
- Drafting and reviewing loan documents, security agreements, and related contracts.
- Collaborating with lenders, borrowers, and other parties involved in real estate finance transactions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the state bar and licensed to practice law in New York.
- 5+ years experience practicing as an attorney with a focus on Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney and MBS or related financial securities.
- Deep understanding of Mortgage-Backed Securities, including structuring, trading, and legal documentation..
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and legal principles.
