Responsibilities
- Operate workplace management systems
- Oversee all fire alarm and other life safety systems and equipment
- Maintain all building systems and infrastructure
- Execute all aspects of maintenance/engineering operations
- Keep Chief Engineer apprised of all operational issues daily
- Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
- Follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role
- Work as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
- Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment
- Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience actively serving in a facilities maintenance/engineering role in a hotel or private club environment
- Technical experience in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-task
- Possess good computer skills
- Punctuality and regular attendance.
- Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
- Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic
