Position Overview:
Silverline enables business and digital transformation through our innovative data and integration solutions. We believe MuleSoft will be a large contributor to what we do, and we want talented, creative and thoughtful individuals to join our team.
The optimal candidate is an innovative Integration expert with the ability to understand complex middleware architecture, set up and support complex integration platforms.
This role would be responsible for managing and supporting global Integration platform using MuleSoft technology.
This role is for you if you can:
- Demonstrate experience using MuleSoft to Design, Build, Test, and Manage APIs and applications deployed on Anypoint Platform
- Provide guidance to developers on best practices and standards to use through the full application lifecycle
- Articulate the value proposition of MuleSoft vs competitor products
- Express the difference deployment options on Anypoint Platform
Primary responsibilities include:
- Work with customers and architects to implement MuleSoft APIs and Apps to solve complex business challenges
- Lead the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment using MuleSoft development tools and best practices
- Monitor Health of 500+ Servers where integration artifacts deployed which comprises of 1000+ APIs.
- Collaborate with DevOps to Monitor, maintain and enhance the infrastructure pipelines.
- Provide API Governance and process improvements in API deployment life cycle.
- Coordinate Weekly/Monthly Planned & Maintenance Releases with multiple stakeholders.
- Continuous SDLC process improvements by collaborating with Compliance, DevOps, Support and MW teams.
- Incubating new deployment models in integration space.
- Collaborating with different teams to find solutions for complex integration problems.
- Explore new and emerging technologies in the middleware integration space.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of the technology surrounding middleware integration tools.
- Experience in implementing solutions with Soap, RESTful web services using both XML and JSON. Good Exposure to OOD, Design Patterns and Data Structures.
- Development Experience with MuleSoft.
- Experience with best practices used in API development. Experience with various features of MuleSoft like Mule connectors, Mule Exchange and Management console etc.
- Must possess a strong applications architecture background.
- Awareness of cloud deployments and complexities involved in cloud deployments.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
Requirements:
- 3+ years MuleSoft experience
- Hold at least 1 active MuleSoft Certification
- Experience with different MuleSoft offerings
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns using MuleSoft
- Experience with logging and error handling best practices in Anypoint Platform
- 5-7 years implementing integration projects
- Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications
- Experience in deploying/managing Mule Apps via DevOps automation tools
- Experience with API security implementation and best practices in API Manager
- Location Requirement: 3-5 days in office/week based in Charolotte, NC.
Preferred, but not Required:
- Salesforce integration experience strongly desired
- Experience using other middleware tools such as Jitterbit, Cast Iron, Dell Boomi, Informatica, SSIS, etc.
