About the Role
As a Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our field operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional landscape services. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will maintain punch lists, and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and schedules to complete work on time and within budget. Your keen eye for detail and ability to multitask will be crucial in aligning maintenance schedules across crews and addressing any challenges that arise.
What You'll Do
- Supervise, coach, and motivate field employees in carrying out maintenance duties, conducting training as needed
- Create daily assignments, check progress, and ensure work completion within scheduling demands and quality guidelines
- Educate and train crews in maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilization
- Perform all overseeding activities and step in to support the crews in any needed capacity
- Coordinate the acquisition and use of labor, materials, and equipment to complete work within budget
- Partner with Account Managers as needed to align on service deliverables such as quality audits, punch lists, and next steps
- Enforce safety policies and procedures consistently, ensuring proper use of machinery and PPE at all times
- Conduct property walks to inspect progress and provide updates
- Leverage multitasking abilities to keep projects moving efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of landscape maintenance supervision experience
- Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Horticulture expertise with a wide range of landscape skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
Physical Requirements
- While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires heavy lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using shovel.
- Working conditions may include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, extreme temperature and weather conditions, intense noise, hazardous materials.
- Must be physically coherent and aware at all times when dealing with heavy machinery and equipment, and while driving.
