JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global has partnered with a growing divorce law firm that is seeking to hire a remote Divorce Attorney based in the Orange County, FL area. While the position is remote, candidates must live in central Florida and live within an hour of the Orange County Courthouse because they will need to go to court about 3 or 4 times per month.
A normal day will include client meetings, responding to calls & emails, drafting and reviewing documents, and collaborating with the other attorneys and paralegals at the firm. All work can be done remotely, but you are expected to make it to court when needed - potentially on short notice for hearings etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of legal experience with family law cases with a focus in divorce and paternity.
- Accustomed to managing 25+ cases simultaneously.
- Barred in Florida.
- Based in central Florida.
- Proficient with drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Ability to bring clients or cases to a new firm.
