Job Description:
Project Overview:
- Our client is an Automation Integrator working to incorporate robotics and automation technology for their clients across industries.
- They require a skilled Controls Engineerwith experience in fully designing lifecycles for automation systems.
- This role will work on multiple development projects in various stages of the design lifecycle, focusing on construction, build out, FAT, and Commissioning.
- Troubleshooting/modification of existing code will be required.
- Much of the work will involve hands on interaction with Engineering, Design, and Production personnel to work thru mechanical and electrical design challenges on the floor.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Implement and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
- Perform machine power up, debug and programming.
- Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach.
Experience/Education:
- BSEE or APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE (Degree is not required)
- ~5 years' Automation industry experience
Required:
- Allen Bradley PLC and HMI
- Fanuc robot experience
Desired:
- Servo Motion experience
- Vision Systems (Fanuc iRVision desired)
