Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and active California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) registration, or equivalent experience (14 years).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public works design, with an emphasis on transportation engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, with the ability to handle project schedules and budgets.
Preferred Experience:
- Extensive skills and knowledge in all areas of roadway engineering projects.
- Strong experience in interacting with clients and public agencies.
- Familiarity with Caltrans District 3 processes is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead engineering design teams on complex transportation projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time, cost-effective project delivery.
- Develop and prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and public agencies to drive project success and client satisfaction.
