People Architects is excited to partner with our Valley City, Ohio client to hire a Director, Personal Financial Planner. The Director, Personal Financial Planner builds relationships and works directly with clients, assisted by a client services associate and a team of wealth management professionals who serve a high-net-worth family comprised of multiple generations.
About the Role:
Supports family clients and their outside advisors through the full cycle of client relationships, from the initial development of a plan to ongoing review meetings. Works with other team members to keep client's personal balance sheets and out-of-estate balance sheets current, identifying changes needed proactively and in real-time. Reviews Client Service planning materials and manages meeting notes and action item. Initiates and participates in research projects involving tax and financial planning matter. Ensures tactical client projects such as cash flow and retirement planning analyses are on track and completed on time. Identifies strategic planning opportunities for clients considering personal investment assets, family business enterprise assets, and assets in trust held for clients. Works with the Vice President of client services on beneficiary distribution requests, ensuring proper and prudent fiduciary oversight. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and CFP or CPA designation. Minimum of 5 years experience working in financial planning, public accounting, or family office environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel and Adobe Professional skill.

Pay range and compensation package:
Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance. Paid Time Off. Hybrid - Currently working 1 day in office and 4 days remote.
