Job description:
Buyer/Planners deliver service and inventory goals for a portfolio of vendors and/or warehouses by ensuring that we have the right inventory, in the right place, at the right time to service our customers. In this role you will focus on expediting. An Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that a business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule. Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments.
Assistance to one of the Buyers, need to be able to contact the vendors to be able to update the arrival dates within the system.
Must haves:
1-2 years Computer experience-Outlook, Teams, Excel

Job description:
Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Managers of potential delays.
Assist Buyer with placement, adjustments, and cancellations of purchase orders.
Works with Fulfillment to flow the product through Ferguson warehouses by using the optimal replenishment settings without impacting customer service.
Cancels or expedites orders as necessary to deliver service targets.
Utilizes planning software to build optimal container and/or truckload orders to suppliers.
Designs, implements, and actions alerts that identify exceptional issues impacting service and/or inventory.
Conducts replenishment data analysis to root cause current and future service failures then communicates and takes action to fix service failures.
Monitors rebalancing of assigned inventory to ensure excess inventory is optimized.
Analyze, report, and act on replenishment planning KPIs (Instocks, Fill Rate, Days of Inventory, Inefficient Inventory) on a regular cadence.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
Advanced skills in Excel (pivots, lookups) preferred.
Experience working in a supply chain planning software a plus.
Monday through Friday- 8 hours a day with
Hybrid role - 2 days remote and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office
30-minute lunch-unpaid
