Position Overview: This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of contract law, keen analytical skills, and the ability to support legal processes that align with our company's policies and risk management strategies. The Paralegal at Regent Cabinet Solutions will provide essential support to our in-house attorney, specializing in the review, drafting, and management of customer sales contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research as needed to ensure compliance with contract terms, assess risks, and provide relevant information to support legal counsel.
- Document Review and Drafting: Draft and revise legal documents, letters, and agreements related to sales contracts; manage redlining and track changes effectively.
- File Maintenance: Organize and maintain contract files, legal documents, and supporting materials in both digital and physical formats.
- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and maintain customer sales contracts in collaboration with the in-house attorney, ensuring terms are clear, accurate, and compliant with company standards and legal requirements.
- Client and Internal Communication: Act as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing accurate information to both internal teams and clients under attorney guidance.
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with contract terms and flag any issues or deviations, ensuring contracts align with regulatory and corporate policies.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the in-house attorney as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing document flow.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in contract management in the construction/real estate industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law and familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
