Mechanical Engineer (Computer Hardware)
Target Salary: $90-$135k/yr

Location: Fremont, CA
Client designs and manufactures industrial-grade computer systems, including SBCs, embedded systems, IoT industrial appliances, human machine interfaces (HMI) , network and security appliances, and more.
Responsibility
- Responsible for the design and development of new and current products and create 2D/3D CAD Drawings
- Responsible for the testing and validation of designed components and systems.
- Work within the design engineering team in the development of new products from conceptualization through production launch
- Generate mechanical component and assembly drawings and manufacturing process requirements to effectively communicate designs with internal teams and vendors.
Skills:
- 1-5 years of exp - let's hold off on candidates with 10+
- Profecencify in SolidWorks for 3D Modeling and drafting
- Experience with product development lifecycle and design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principals and design methodologies
- Familiarity with part fabrication including sheet metal, injection molding, casting, machining and stampings ideal (Exp in one or more of these areas is required)
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Computer Hardware exp or similar ideal
Preferred: Mandarin speakers are ideal, but we will also consider others like Cantonese, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, and Tagalog.
