Our client is seeking a strong HR Director level individual with experience working in professional services, consulting, financial services, or client facing environments. This role will focus mainly on development of internal associates, with a focus on performance and development. Additionally, the HRM will manage university recruiting during fall associate hiring.
Hybrid - El Segundo, CA
Compensation - 130-160k Base + bonus
Duties:
- Lead and facilitate new hire onboarding, including bi-annual associate class onboarding and other new hires. Develop agenda, facilitate cross-departmentally, and instill a strong foundation of knowledge and facilitate relationship building to support long term success.
- Partner with functional leaders across the firm to facilitate execution of training and development initiatives.
- Support administration of performance management process
- Build relationships with early career employees, serve as a trusted advisor, provide guidance on workplace concerns, conflict resolution.
- Culture carrier, communicate and emulate cultural standards, conduct employee surveys, and partner across the org to support engagement initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to drive operational effectiveness of core HR activities through technology.
- Clearly define and communicate employer brand and messaging, as applicable through various marketing, relationship, and candidate channels to create excitement.
- Lead bi-annual recruiting cycle of early career hires.
- Execute recruitment initiatives to hire top talent for other more senior internal roles, as needed. Build relationships with search partners, drive best practices for project results.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of HR experience in consulting, financial services, investment management, or similar industries. Other industries will not be considered.
- Must have a bachelors degree, HR certifications highly desired
- Must be a self starter with desire to grow in career. Passion for talent development is key in this role.
- Must have experience or a desire to lead recruiting of associates.
