Position Overview:Loyola Medicine's Division of Hematology-Oncology seeks an Associate or Professor for the Coleman Endowed Chief of Hematology and the BMT and Cellular Immunotherapy Program. Program Highlights:Loyola's BMT Program is a leader in Hematology research and therapy, performing over 120 adult transplants and numerous CAR-T treatments annually. It has dedicated inpatient and outpatient facilities and runs an outpatient High Dose Unit with 12 day hospital beds. The program is FACT and NMDP accredited and excels in allografts, haploidentical transplants, and cord blood transplantation. Responsibilities:The Chief will provide administrative leadership, oversee clinical, research, and procedural activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary leadership. This role includes ample lab space, startup funding, support staff, and opportunities to hire junior faculty. The Chief reports to the Division Chief of Hematology-Oncology and works closely with the Cancer Center Director and Chair of Medicine. About Loyola Medicine:Loyola Medicine includes Loyola University Medical Center (547 beds), MacNeal Hospital (374 beds), Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (247 beds), and Saint Joseph Health System (312 beds total in Indiana). Cancer services are provided through community cancer centers and the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center on the LUMC Campus. Loyola Medicine also offers primary, specialty, and immediate care services across Cook, Will, and DuPage counties, and is affiliated with Loyola University Chicagos Stritch School of Medicine and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
