The ERP Program Manager will be accountable for the strategic planning, execution, and management of the Dynamics 365 ERP system across the organization. This role requires exceptional leadership, extensive expertise in Dynamics 365, and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise resource planning to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the ERP system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning and Management:
- Actively participate in the development and management of the strategic roadmap for the Dynamics 365 ERP implementation and optimization.
- Ensure alignment of the ERP strategy with the organization's business objectives and goals.
- Establish governance frameworks and methodologies to guide ERP initiatives.
Program Leadership:
- Oversee multiple ERP projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. Develop and administer detailed project plans, encompassing schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement within the ERP team.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with senior leadership, business units, and key stakeholders to communicate the project vision, goals, and progress.
- Act as the primary liaison between the ERP program and senior leadership.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts as necessary.
Dynamics 365 Expertise:
- Provide subject matter expertise in the Dynamics 365 platform, including Finance, Supply Chain, and other relevant modules.
- Guide the customization and configuration of Dynamics 365 to meet organizational requirements.
- Ensure the ERP system enhances operational efficiency and supports strategic initiatives.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices and industry standards in ERP system utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and user adoption.
Risk and Change Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with ERP implementation and ongoing operations.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Oversee quality assurance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Vendor and Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the ERP program budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- Ensure that vendor deliverables meet the organization's standards and project requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages two or more members of experienced employees and consultants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in ERP program management, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and supply chain business processes.
- Demonstrated success in ERP implementations.
- Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
- Position is based in corporate office located in Memphis, TN.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel as needed.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the chemical and consumer products manufacturing and distribution industries. Knowledge of additional Dynamics 365 modules.
Familiarity with integration tools and techniques.
