Job Summary:
Highway Intelligent Traffic Solutions, LLC, founded in Texas in 2007, has always been on the cutting edge of technology and is an industry leader in electrical contracting. Highway ITS is currently seeking a Project Manager for projects in North Texas. The Project Manager position will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization in coordination with operations leadership.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Provides support and direction to field crews.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Bilingual—English and Spanish preferred.
- Scheduling experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
- Valid state issued driver’s license subjected to MVR evaluation.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in Construction Management, including familiarity with electrical, traffic signal, and illumination projects.
Primary Work Location:
The Highway ITS headquarters in Cedar Hill, TX.
