As a Brake Press Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your core skills in mechanical knowledge, manufacturing, and basic math to operate press brake machines effectively. Join our team and be a key player in producing high-quality fabricated metal products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a brake press machine to bend per customer drawing or specifications
- Program brake press to utilize the best tooling package
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications
- Visually inspect the final product for any defects.
- Maintain the machine, ensuring that it is fully functional
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to safely operate metalworking equipment
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and bend, stand, stoop, or sit for long periods at a time
