Overview:
A JAB Recruitment client is seeking for a Centrifuge Electrician in Conroe, Texas. This is 6-month temp to hire contract (convert to full is a possibility but not guaranteed).
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Run and distribute power throughout VFD cabinets and centrifuges.
- Assemble and prepare electrical components.
- Install and test electrical components.
- Ensure equipment is operational and safe prior to final test.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Minimum requirements:
- Ability to read schematics/blueprints
- Reliable/dependable
- Shows up to work on time every day
- Must have their own hand tools including a Fluke CAT 4, AMP Clamp Meter, Screwdrivers, Hammer, Wrenches, Cable Strippers, Ratchets/Sockets, Allen Wrenches or Socket Set, Lineman needle-nose, Pliers, Razor Knife.
