I am hiring a Project Coordinator for a construction client that I work with in Waukesha. This opportunity is temp to hire and the compensation is up to 80K annually.
JOB SUMMARY
This role will be managing the staffing/resourcing for the projects out in the field. They have 45 - 65 employees deployed at any time. They are currently running between 12-15 projects in multiple states
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate staffing based on 3 week look ahead
- Need to balance workload/project needs and field costs (more laborers in field, more cost, less profit for the job)
- Communicate with the union to hire/bring on new workers
- Will need to lay off/fire individuals when projects wrap up, poor performance, etc.
- Coordinate with new employees --> when a new union member is being brought on, this role will work with Payroll to get their application sent over and new employee onboarding. (Payroll does all that entry, but they need to stay on top of it)
- Working in Excel to plan out the projects
- Also using KPA which is the online time card service - that will be for employee onboarding
Must Have:
- Construction or Project Management experience
- Strong Organization and communication skill
