This is supporting AFSIT ( Air Force Systems Interoperability Testing) and the JITC ( Joint Interoperability Test Command) Working with communication hand held devices for the AF. Used to be radios but now have transitioned to cell phones. Theres a software that has been developed in where they can do TS/TSSCI level work and the goal is to allow these devices to be used within the DoD network so the good guys can hear and communicate via air to air and ground while keeping enemies out of hearing.
This person will be a true engineer and putting these devices through various tests. Most likely coming from a EE background or some engineering background. Knowledge with network is needed as well to ensure accuracy.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s in engineering or related field (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering etc)
- 10+ years total working within the engineering space
- Testing hardware specifically communication devices ensuring they are able to communicate to one another
- Experience with flight systems, avionics systems, software/testing and modifications within these environments
- Secret clearance

- Airworthiness certifications
- Microcontroller, sensors experience
Job Description:
A well-known Government supporting company in the Niceville FL area is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer. This person will be joining a team to help assist in the consultation, support & design, integration and testing of these newer communication devices that will be used in air to air and ground communications within the DoD. Other responsibilities will be providing assistance with documentation support to conduct reviews of performance and support any modifications that need to take place regarding system level integration with the devices.
