Insight Global is seeking a Flood Paralegal to join a company in Greenwood Village, CO. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for flood regulations and processes within the bank. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements related to flood determinations and insurance for new loan requests and the existing loan portfolio. The specialist will analyze flood determinations, maps, and insurance policies, collaborate with various bank personnel, and participate in project teams to evaluate the impact of new processes and systems on flood compliance.
Responsibilities
- Flood Insurance Compliance, Mortgage Lien filing and collateral monitoring, tracking, and safekeeping.
- Document review and data entry of Flood certificates, insurance requirements, and mortgage expiration date reviews.
- Flood Paralegal primary role is responsible for handling pre- and post-closing flood due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements when the bank makes, increase, renews or extends a loan. This includes ordering flood hazard determinations, analyzing results, and working with the Deal Team to obtain required documentation when real estate secures the loan that contain building(s) located in a designated special flood hazard area requiring flood insurance prior to loan closing.
