Summary
The Inspector shall be well rounded in all aspects of inspection including layout inspection on surface plates, use of optical comparators, indicators, and other various manual inspection gages, basic knowledge of Zeiss CMM and Keyence Optical machines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer blueprints, specifications and company operation sheets.
- Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, pins, indicators, thread gages, height gages and optical comparators to complete First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections.
- Perform visual inspection at 4X, 10X and 20X magnification.
- Document inspection data on ERP system and/or company / customer forms.
- Complete First Article Inspection in an AS9102 format.
- Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements, maintain documentation, traceability, revision, and lot control.
- Review Customer Portal / Purchase Order to determine Quality requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
