Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions for telecom infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and develop strategies to optimize performance, reduce latency, and enhance security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues in real-time, identifying root causes and deploying corrective actions swiftly.
Document network configurations, processes, and changes in detail to ensure consistency, compliance, and ease of future upgrades.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience (3+ years) in network engineering with a focus on the telecom industry.
Strong expertise with routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS to ensure optimized traffic flow and network stability.
In-depth knowledge of network security practices, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions, including AWS, Azure, or other cloud-based environments to manage hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructures.
Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies and network integration for voice services.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve network issues under pressure.

Technical Skills:

Networking Hardware: Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista routers and switches, and hands-on experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls.
Firewall and VPN Technologies: Expertise in firewall configuration, VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL), and secure tunneling protocols.
SD-WAN and MPLS: Experience with SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Viptela, Meraki) and MPLS networks for improved traffic management and secure remote access.
Cloud Networking: Knowledge of cloud networking solutions such as AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, and GCP for cloud-based routing and security configuration.
VoIP and QoS: Understanding of VoIP implementations, Quality of Service (QoS) configurations, and optimizing network performance for voice services.
Network Automation: Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Python scripting for network automation, and monitoring.
