Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and talented Graphic Artist to join our Licensed Division at Gameday Couture. As a Graphic Artist, you will work with our Art and Licensing team, supporting the creative/graphics department in executing licensed apparel designs and imagery for college and professional sports. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute your artistic expertise, advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, and product photography experience to produce outstanding artwork and product images that align with our brand vision and resonate with sports fans.
The ideal candidate is skilled, adaptable, and passionate about contributing high-quality work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You should have expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for both graphic and photo editing tasks, capable of independently creating and enhancing artwork designs and product images for licensed apparel. We need someone who can thrive under tight deadlines, producing top-quality results with limited direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Artwork Design: Utilize expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create artwork designs for licensed college and professional sports apparel. Collaborate with the Senior Art Director to ensure all designs align with brand vision and licensing requirements.
- Apparel Product Photography and Photo Editing: Use at least two years of product photography experience to create, edit, and enhance product images for apparel, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and brand-aligned visuals. Work independently and collaborate to execute on-model photo shoots, cad, and flat lay imagery for apparel. Employ advanced photo editing techniques to retouch, color-correct, color edit, and optimize product photos for online and print, adhering to brand standards.
- Graphic Production: Take ownership of assigned design projects, ensuring timely completion and strict adherence to deadlines. Collaborate with the creative team to streamline workflows and optimize graphics and photo production processes.
- Collaborative Approach: Work with the creative/graphics team and cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, licensing) to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and contribute to cohesive design concepts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all artwork designs and product images meet brand guidelines and licensing requirements for licensed apparel. Coordinate with the licensing division to confirm compliance and address any issues that arise.
- Sports Knowledge: Leverage a genuine passion for NCAA, NFL, and MLS sports to create artwork that resonates with our target audience and reflects the diverse fan culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and technology advancements to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the creative process.
- Resourcefulness: Proactively identify solutions to challenges during the design and production process, whether for digital artwork or product imagery.
